Young man found hanging at Rajshahi hotel

Police recovered the body of a 28-year-old man from a hotel room in New Market area in Rajshahi city on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sabuj Kumar Adhikari, hailed from Atgharia village in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district.
Hotel authorities said Sabuj was scheduled to check out on Saturday but when he did not leave the room at the scheduled time staff looked through the window and found his hanging body.
Abul Kalam Azad, Officer-in-Charge of Boalia police station, said the hotel room door was locked from the inside.
The body has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death case has been filed at the police station and the body will be handed over to the family after completion of legal procedures, reports UNB.
