US-Bangla launches direct flights from Dhaka to Riyadh

Dhaka, April 21 - US-Bangla Airlines has launched direct flights from Dhaka to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from today (Monday).

The inaugural flight departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2:10 pm with 423 passengers to Riyadh, marking the airline’s 14th international destination.

Initially, US-Bangla will operate direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh five days a week using a 436-seat Airbus A330-300.

According to the schedule, the flights will depart Dhaka every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:20 pm and land in Riyadh at 5:10 pm local time. The return flight from Riyadh will depart at 7:15 pm and arrive in Dhaka at 4:00 am the following day.

US-Bangla Airlines currently has a fleet of 24 aircraft, including two Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s.

Besides operating on all domestic routes, the airline also flies to Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Male, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai and Kolkata. - UNB
