Hasina Expresses Condolences Over Khaleda Zia’s Death

Ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep sorrow over the death of BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

In a condolence message shared on the Awami League’s official Facebook page on Tuesday, Hasina said she was saddened by the passing of the veteran political leader.

“I express my deep sorrow over the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia,” she said.

Hasina also extended her sympathies to the bereaved family, offering condolences to Khaleda Zia’s son Tarique Rahman and other family members during this time of grief.
