National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organizer (Southern Region) Hasnat Abdullah today denied any distance of his party with BNP and Jamaat.

“The news of NCP’s distance with BNP and Jamaat is not true. NCP’s relations with those parties are based on its proposal for reforms,” he said.

Hasnat Abdullah said this while speaking at an event at Pirojpur held as part of NCP’s three-day organizational tour in Barisal Division.

“Sometimes Jamaat has agreed with the NCP’s fundamental proposals and reforms. Same case is with the BNP,” he said.

NCP’s organizing secretary of the Barisal Division Mujahidul Islam Shahin and Chief Coordinator of Barisal District Abusaid Musa attended the function as special guests while Chief Coordinator of Pirojpur District Mashiur Rahman was in the chair, reports BSS.

“We have cordiality with Jamaat when the party extended support and proceeded with our reform proposals. Same is with BNP also,” Hasnat Abdullah said.

“In fact, NCP will have cordial relation with those parties which are in favour of reforms, and distance will be created when they will take opposite stance,” he added.
