National Standing Committee Member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Dr Abdul Moin Khan has said the Awami League (AL) is a deviated political party for its prolonged misdeeds.

"Consequence of long-term wrong-doing and misdeeds has led Awami League ousting from the country," he said while distributing BNP's forms for collection and renewal of new members at Bhuban Mohan Park in the city today.

Dr Moin Khan said the interim government has a noble duty to restore democracy through holding a proper and neutral election.

"We know there are needs of reformation and justice but these are continuous processes," he said, adding that reformation and justice are not similar things.

Terming the image and dignity of a political party as a big resource, he reminded the BNP leaders and workers not to behave like the AL and urged them to attain trust and confidence of the public in general.

With city BNP Convener Advocate Ershad Ali Isha in the chair, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Divisional Organizing Secretary Syed Shaheen Shawkat, Senior Joint Convener Nazrul Huda and Member-secretary Mamun-Or-
Rashid, reports BSS.
