BIDA Chairman Granted State Minister Status

Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), has been granted state minister status.


The Cabinet Division issued an official gazette notification today, confirming the decision, which is effective immediately.

Chowdhury was appointed as the Executive Chairman of BIDA on September 12, 2024, by the interim government.
