
In a press release, the organisation said the programme s have been announced to observe the historic July–August uprising, pay respect to the martyrs and injured, preserve historical memories, recognise contributions of all stakeholders, establish national unity against fascism, and commemorate the second anniversary of the people’s long struggle and victory against misrule.
It will organise a programme titled “Aloy Aloy Smriti Somujjol” (Memories Illuminated by Light) at the Central Shaheed Minar on July 1 at the first hour of the day.
The event will include the national anthem and candlelight vigils in honour of the martyrs of the July–August uprising, reports UNB.
