Special police arrests alleged Jama'atul Ansar man in Dhaka

Dhaka, June 23 - The Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit (CTTC) members on Friday arrested militant group Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya's founder Shamin Mahfuz and his wife from the city's Demra area.

A large number of arms and explosives were seized from the arrestees at the time.

DMP Additional Commissioner of Police (CTTC) Md Asaduzzaman will brief the incident to the media at DMP media center on Saturday noon. - UNB
