Police recover burned body from Mouchak Flyover in Dhaka

Police have recovered the burned body of an unidentified person from the Mouchak flyover in the capital.


Acting on information received through emergency service 999, Shahjahanpur Police recovered the body around 1:30 am on Sunday, Sub-Inspector Md Mehedi Hasan said.

He said the body was completely charred, making it impossible to determine the deceased's identity, age, or gender.

The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue around noon for autopsy, reports UNB.

“Victim’s identity can be determined through DNA testing,” he said.
