A schoolboy was killed as a train hit him in the capital’s Nakhalpara area on Thursday morning.



A schoolboy was killed as a train hit him in the capital’s Nakhalpara area on Thursday morning.
The incident took place around 9.30am.
The deceased is Junaied Bugdadi, 12, a fifth grader of Nakhalpara Govt Primary School.
According to locals, a train hit Junaied when he was going to school, leaving him critically injured.  He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died around 11.30am.
He was of son of Ataur Rahman who hailed from Halidia village under Chandpur Uttar upazila.
