Youth Festival 2026: Preparatory Meeting Held in Dhaka

A preparatory meeting for the International Festival of Youth 2026 was held in Dhaka, bringing together Bangladeshi youths interested in international cooperation and youth programmes in Russia.

The meeting was organised by the Russian House in Dhaka in cooperation with the Bangladesh International Youth Foundation (BIYF).

Participants were briefed about the upcoming festival, which is scheduled to take place in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from September 11 to 17. The event is expected to bring together young leaders and youth representatives from Russia and different countries, providing opportunities for interaction, exchange of ideas and experiences, and building international connections.

Bangladeshi participants who attended the previous edition of the festival also joined the meeting. They shared their firsthand experiences, practical advice and reflections with prospective participants.

Their experiences provided useful guidance to the young people preparing to take part in international youth programmes and helped them better understand the opportunities and activities associated with such events.

The meeting was part of the Russian House in Dhaka's efforts to promote youth engagement, international cooperation and people-to-people contacts between Bangladeshi youths and their counterparts in Russia and other countries.
