On the first day, the conference will feature two parallel tracks. Over 60 foreign investors will travel to Chattogram to visit the Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ) and the Mirsarai Special Economic Zone (SEZ). These visits will offer insights into Bangladesh’s industrial infrastructure, particularly for entrepreneurs interested in establishing factories.
Meanwhile, in Dhaka, the Startup Connect event at the InterContinental Hotel will provide networking opportunities, matchmaking sessions, and panel discussions focused on nurturing the startup ecosystem and attracting innovation-driven investments.
Day 2: Industrial Zones and Policy Discussions
On Tuesday (April 8), investors will visit the Japanese Economic Zone in Araihajar, Narayanganj, to meet factory owners and explore investment opportunities. Later, discussions on policy matters will involve organizations like the World Bank and the International Labour Organization (ILO), focusing on strategies to enhance FDI inflows and signing agreements for future investments.
Day 3: Inauguration Ceremony and Awards
The conference’s highlight will be the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday (April 9), presided over by Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Yunus. The ceremony, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, will recognize outstanding investors with awards and feature speeches from prominent foreign investors. Parallel sessions will explore investment facilitation and sector-specific opportunities.
