NATO chief Mark Rutte emphasized the importance of unity between the United States, Ukraine, and Europe to achieve a lasting peace in Ukraine. Speaking to the BBC on Saturday, Rutte stated, “We need to stick together—Ukraine, the United States, and Europe—to bring Ukraine to a durable peace.” He revealed that he had recently spoken twice with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, conveying this message of solidarity.

The call for unity comes after a tense encounter between President Zelensky and US President Donald Trump at the White House the day before. Despite the diplomatic friction, Rutte's message underlines the critical need for cooperation among the key allies to stabilize Ukraine and end the ongoing conflict.
