Jeddah, 07-04-2026 - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the incursion of the extremist minister of the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, and the continued closure of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and preventing worshipers from accessing it for the 39th day in a row, considering this a continuation of Israel's repeated violations of the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship, and a flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law.

The organization held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of such daily Israeli attacks on the city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), its people and holy sites, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards putting an end to these Israeli violations that would fuel religious conflict, extremism and instability in the region. – OIC News
