Meanwhile, the Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Israeli crimes against Palestinians recorded the cumulative number of martyrs between 16 and 22 December 2025 as 276 martyrs and 78 injured. The Observatory indicated that this figure included 14 martyrs killed by occupation forces in Gaza, 47 injured within one week, the recovery of 15 bodies, and the verification of the martyrdom of 243 others, while in the West Bank, the tally amounted to 4 martyrs and 31 injured.
In Gaza, Israeli occupation forces destroyed two residential towers, shelled the al-Samer junction in Gaza City, and targeted a school sheltering displaced persons in al-Tuffah neighbourhood, while intensifying attacks on the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in 67 children killed since the ceasefire.
Under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, 17 Palestinians died from severe cold in Gaza, including 4 children, and the UN confirmed that 55,000 families were affected by the recent rainstorm. While the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that 1,092 Palestinians had died due to the Israeli refusal of medical evacuation since 2024, the WHO warned of an imminent health collapse in Gaza.
A UN report indicated that most Gaza residents suffer from food insecurity, while occupation forces continue to impose restrictions on the entry of food, fuel, medicine, and mobile homes.
During the period mentioned, Israeli occupation forces carried out 336 raids on Palestinian towns and villages, arresting 165 Palestinians, demolishing 17 homes, a horse stable, a car wash, an enclosure, a container, and two water pools for agricultural purposes. Among the demolished homes was a residential building in Silwan, Al-Quds. It comprised 13 apartments housing around 100 people, as part of an Israeli policy targeting the Silwan neighbourhood. Occupation authorities seized a Palestinian home, allocating it for settlers in the same area, and closed the “Noor Al-Quds” schools and kindergartens, claiming they disturbed settlers, forcing students to transfer to other schools without parental consent.
Regarding attacks on children, during one week, the occupation forces killed one Palestinian child, injured 8 others, and arrested 4 children. Settlers killed a child in Bethlehem, attacked school students in Yatta town, Al-Khaleel, and, according to the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, the number of children arrested by occupation forces reached 1,650.
The report also confirmed that the total number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is 9,300, not including detainees in military camps.
Occupation forces confiscated agricultural land in Atouf village, Ramallah, for the construction of a military road, seized gold jewellery from Palestinians in Al-Quds, and besieged the Husan village mosque in Bethlehem, preventing worshippers from leaving.
Within seven days, settlers carried out 62 attacks on Palestinians, cutting a power line supplying a home in the northern Jordan Valley, setting fire to two vehicles and agricultural land in Barqa village, Ramallah, grazing livestock on olive and grape lands in Douma village, stealing a water tanker and agricultural equipment in Tubas. Under the occupation forces' protection, settlers also stormed Kifl Haris town in Salfit, performing Talmudic rituals at a religious site, knocking on doors, and breaking water meters in several homes.
Settlement activity during the week included 13 incidents, during which the Israeli government approved the establishment of 19 new settlements in central and northern West Bank, Bethlehem, the northern Jordan Valley, and Al-Khaleel. Occupation forces issued orders to confiscate 530 dunams of land near Jenin for a settler road, bulldozed land between Aqraba town and Jureish village, placed mobile homes to expand a settlement outpost there and in Shaqba village, Ramallah, and tents in Khillat al-Dib’a. They bulldozed 35 dunams of land, uprooted 400 mature olive trees in Badrus village, Ramallah, and seized agricultural land, barns, and greenhouses in Jiyus town, as well as tens of dunams north of Yasuf village, Salfit, to expand the “Kfar Tapuah” settlement. Settlers also carried out bulldozing and construction in Khalail al-Luz village, Bethlehem, and Sarta village, Salfit, to expand settlements, and ploughed land in Deir Dibwan, Ramallah, to seize it for settlement purposes.
Thus, the total number of Israeli crimes of various types during the mentioned period reached 1,189 crimes in one week, spanning the occupied city of Al-Quds, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. OIC News
