National football team off to KSA

Dkaka, 5 March - The Bangladesh national football team left here Wednesday for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to undergo intensive 
training ahead of AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifiers match against 
India.

The booters will hold a two-week long training under the supervision of Head 
Coach Javier Cabrera.

Earlier, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced a 30-member 
preliminary squad for the qualifiers against India in Shillong on March 25.

Bangladesh-origin English Premier League player Hamza Chowdhury is expected 
to arrive in Bangladesh on March 17 to join the team bound for India, while 
Italian league player Fahamedul Islam is scheduled to join the national 
team's camp in the Saudi Arabia on March 10.

The national booters will return home on March 17 after completing their 
intensive training in the Saudi Arabia.
