Dhaka, 2 Oct - Mohammedan Sporting Club made a winning start in the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) defeating Fakirerpool Young Men's Club by a solitary goal held at Chandpur District Stadium Friday.

In the day's match, defender Mohammed Jahid Hasan Shanta scored the all-important goal for Mohammedan in the 18th minute of the match.

Fakirerpool, however, tried their best to stage a fight back in the match but they could not score any in the remaining proceeding.

With this win, Mohammedan opened their account with three points while Fakirerpool remained with their previous collection of three points following their 2-1 victory over Dhaka Wanderers Club in their opening league match.BSS
