Mohammedan return winning streak in BFL

Dhaka, 17 April- Following their previous match defeat against arch-rival Abahani Limited, defending champions Mohammedan Sporting Club returned winning streak in the Bangladesh Football League  (BFL) beating Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club by 3-0 goals held  at  Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla today.

After the barren first half, forward Joy Ahmed broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Mohammedan in the 60th minute while midfielder Jewel Mia doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 90+1st minute of the match.

Rafayel Tudu completed the tally scoring the third goal for Mohammedan in the 90+6th minute of the match. 
  
With the day’s win, the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit Mohammedan moved up sixth position in the league table with 14 points from 13 matches while bottom-ranked Fakirerpool who are fighting to skip relegation, remained with their previous collection of 10 points playing the same number of matches.  

Meanwhile, Brothers Union Club take on PWD Sports Club at Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj Saturday at 3.30 pm.BSS
