Fruit and Baul songs festival was organised at the National Press Club auditorium on Friday, June 23, 2023.
A festival of monsoon fruits and Baul songs was held at the National Press Club auditorium on Friday June 23, 2023. About two dozen varities of fruits were on display and served to members of the club who attended the festival.
There were mangoes, litchis, jackfruits, guavas, pineapples, black berries, dragons, lotcons, jamruls, kaws, bananas, green and ripe palms, plums, and bileti gab to mention a few. Members of the club came to the festival some with their spouses and children, some others alone. An extrs air of festivity was created by the baul singers who enthralled the crowd with their performances.
