The Election Commission (EC) has warned that if any involvement in 'vote buying and selling' is found, strict action will be taken against those responsible, according to an official handout citing the EC's press release.

The handout said a political party has alleged that 'vote buying and selling' is occurring in different parts of the country. The EC said such practices are punishable under the law and reiterated that strict action will be taken if any evidence is found, reports UNB.
