A bulk carrier, MV PERTH, has arrived at the outer anchorage of Kutubdia in Chattogram with 52,500 metric tonnes of wheat imported from Russia.

The shipment followed a cash purchase agreement signed on 7 July this year. Officials confirmed that sampling and quality testing of the cargo have already been completed, with arrangements in place to ensure prompt unloading.

Of the total consignment, 31,500 metric tonnes will be unloaded at Chattogram port, while the remaining 21,000 metric tonnes are scheduled for discharge at Mongla port.
