Bangladesh Finance officially launched its innovative financial service platform, Bangladesh Finance BIR, on Wednesday, tailored specifically for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).

The newly introduced platform provides a wide range of financial products, including exclusive savings and investment options in both conventional and Shariah-compliant models. Additionally, it offers home loans, SME loans, loans for women entrepreneurs, and agricultural loans, available not only to NRBs but also to their families.

As part of a unique suite of premium benefits, customers of Bangladesh Finance BIR will enjoy exceptional services such as countrywide airport pickup and drop-off, exclusive lounge access, meet-and-greet services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, as well as comprehensive health and life insurance coverage.

The launch event was held at the Economic Reporters’ Forum (ERF), where the Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Finance, Md. Kyser Hamid, was joined by high-ranking officials from the organization. ERF president Doulot Akter Mala and general secretary Mr. Abul Kashem were also in attendance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kyser Hamid emphasized the platform’s importance in supporting the NRB community. “Non-Resident Bangladeshis are instrumental to our economy, with their significant contributions through remittances and investments. Bangladesh Finance BIR is designed to acknowledge their vital role and offer specialized financial services tailored to their needs,” he said.
