A mild tremor of 4.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale was felt in Sylhet area around 1:10pm on Tuesday.



A mild tremor of 4.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale was felt in Sylhet area around 1:10pm on Tuesday.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre was 18 kilometres away from Sylhet's Jaintapur.

It was learned the epicentre was at a depth of 10 kilometres.

No damage or casualties were reported as of filing this report.
