Two held with 11,000 pieces of yaba in Feni

A team of the district Narcotics Control Department in a drive arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 11,000 pieces of yaba tablet from the Daganbhuiyan municipality area in Feni district early this morning.
The arrested persons were identified as Md Omar Faruk alias Bullet Faruk, 44, son of late Abdul Khalek, a resident of Ward No. 3 of Rasulpur union of Daganbhuiyan Upazila and Saiful Islam Sujan, 36, son of late Abul Khair, a resident of Kutubpur Union of the same upazila.
Subrata Sarkar Shuvo, Assistant Director of the Noakhali District Narcotics Control Department, said a team of the department conducted a raid in Godown Road area of ??Ward No.4 in Daganbhuiyan Municipality around 1:30 am and arrested them with the yaba tablets, reports BSS.
During the drive, the team also seized Taka 5.70 lakh, a motorcycle and four mobile sets allegedly used for drug trading.
