2 die in N'ganj road accident

Two people were killed and five others injured in a collision between a bus and a human haulier in Araihazar upazila here Friday.



Two people were killed and five others injured in a collision between a bus and a human haulier in Araihazar upazila here Friday afternoon.

 The deceased were identified as Ferdous, 26, the driver of the human haulier, and Kulsum, 55, a resident of the upazila.

 Omar Faruk, in charge of Bhulta highway police camp, said the accident occurred at around 2:45 pm in the Pachrukhy area on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway. Kulsum died on the spot while Ferdous died under treatment at a hospital in Rupganj Upazila.

 Police seized the vehicles.
