According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), two of the new deaths were reported in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), while one was recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
During this period, 685 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, bringing the total number of cases to 37,891 so far this year.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), new cases were reported as follows: 125 in Barishal Division (outside city corporation), 89 in Chattogram Division (outside city corporation), 122 in Dhaka Division (outside city corporation), 116 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 128 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 21 in Mymensingh Division (outside city corporation), 35 in Khulna Division (outside city corporation), 39 in Rajshahi Division (outside city corporation), 6 in Rangpur Division (outside city corporation), and 4 in Sylhet Division (outside city corporation).
Currently, 702 patients are receiving treatment in Dhaka, while a total of 1,715 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country.
The report also said that 60.7 percent of the patients were men, while 39.3 percent were women, reports UNB.
Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.
The DGHS recorded 101,214 dengue cases and 100,040 recoveries during the same period.
