Six more die of dengue, 869 others hospitalised in 24hrs

At least six more people died of dengue in the past 24 hours till Saturday.



At least six more people died of dengue in the past 24 hours till Saturday (October 29) morning across the country, taking the total official death toll to 134 this year.
In the past 24 hours ending at 8:00am on Saturday, 869 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country, of which, 481 were reported in Dhaka city and 388 in other places outside the capital, said a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 3,597 dengue patients are undergoing treatment across the country.
At least 36,131 people were admitted to health facilities across the country this year officially.
A total of 24,853 patients of this year’s total hospitalisation were reported in Dhaka city while 11,278 were outside Dhaka.
