Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain held talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the strength and resilience of Bangladesh–Pakistan relations and reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation.

The two leaders discussed ways to further deepen collaboration, placing particular emphasis on enhancing high-level engagements, expanding trade, and strengthening cooperation in the education sector.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining constructive dialogue and exploring new avenues to advance mutual interests between the two countries.
