Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari today called for deeper collaboration between Nepal and Bangladesh in the field of education, particularly in addressing the needs and interests of Nepali students studying in Bangladesh.

Ambassador Bhandari made the remarks when he paid a courtesy call on Education adviser Professor Dr Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar at the secretariat here, said a press release issued by the Nepal Embassy here.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further enhance educational exchanges and institutional cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

They also stressed the importance of fostering academic linkages, mutual recognition of degrees, and expanding opportunities for students and
researchers.

The discussions reflected the shared commitment of Bangladesh and Nepal to promoting regional understanding and people-to-people connectivity through education, reports BSS.
