The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canada-based Quest Water Global Inc., marking a new step toward advancing Bangladesh’s clean water infrastructure and related investment opportunities.

The MoU was signed by BIDA Secretary Khondokar Azizul Islam and Andrea Battiston, representative of Quest Water Global Inc., during the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 held at a city hotel, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, Quest Water Global Inc. will conduct feasibility studies and explore project development in Bangladesh, with a focus on innovative solutions like AquaTap—a decentralized, solar-powered water purification and distribution system. The company also plans to evaluate broader investment prospects across various sectors in the country.

The collaboration reflects growing international interest in Bangladesh’s sustainable development goals, particularly in ensuring access to safe and affordable drinking water.
