IAPB chief discusses eye care cooperation with PM

Peter Holland, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), on Monday met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in improving eye care services in Bangladesh.


The meeting was held at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat at around 11:30am, according to the Prime Minister's Press Wing.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the development of eye care services in Bangladesh, prevention of blindness, reduction of visual impairment and enhancing cooperation in the sector.

State Minister for Health Dr M A Muhith was present at the meeting, reports UNB.
