15-year-old stabbed dead in Keraniganj

A teenage shop employee was stabbed to death in Kaliganj Boys Club area of Keraniganj late Sunday night.


The deceased was identified as Md Ruman, son of Mohammad Sani of Muslim Nagar area under Dakhsin Keraniganj. He used to work at a clothing shop.

Witnesses said a group of miscreants intercepted Ruman and stabbed him when he was returning home after work around 11:30pm.

Hearing screams, locals rushed to the spot and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where physicians declared dead around 1:30am, reports UNB. 

Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of the hospital police outpost, said the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy and police station concerned has been informed.
