At least 30 people were injured in a violent clash between two rival groups in Lakhai upazila of Habiganj district today. The confrontation occurred around 9:30 am and was the result of a long-standing feud between the two factions.

According to Bande Ali Miah, Officer-in-Charge of Lakhai Police Station, the clash erupted between supporters of Milon Mia from Dairul village and Touhid Mia from the neighboring Maijhati village. The altercation stemmed from previous tensions between the two groups.
