Housewife gang-raped after being lured with job opening in Khulna
A housewife was gang-raped allegedly by four people in the name of giving a job to a brick kiln in Zero Point of Khulna on Monday.
One Dalim, a neighbour of the victim, brought her from Bedkashi village under Koyra upazila of the district in the name of giving a job on Sunday evening.
The four people including Dalim raped her after keeping her on hostage at a house in Fatemabag area of the Zero Point on early Monday.
The victim somehow managed to escape from the house and shared the matter with locals of the Zero Point in the afternoon.
Dr Anjan Chakrabartya, a residential medical officer and focal person of the OCC in Khulna Medical College Hospital, said the victim was admitted to the One-Stop-Crisis Centre (OCC) and some tests were conducted.
Emdadul Hoque, officer-in-charge of Horintana police station, confirmed the incident saying that drives are going on to nab the accused in this connection, reports UNB.
