Dhaka, 13 April -Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Liton Das's Pakistan Super League (PSL) mission is over before it began after suffering a finger injury.

The batter will soon return home to start his rehabilitation.

"I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans," Liton Das wrote in his social media platform.

"During a practice session, I sustained a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least two weeks."

"So sadly, my PSL mission is over before it even began. I'm flying back to Bangladesh and seeking your prayers and love for a quick recovery."

"Wishing the very best of luck to my team, Karachi Kings."

Liton was granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the entire PSL season, which caused him to miss the two-match Test series against Zimbabwe.

Rishad Hossain and Nahid Rana are the other Bangladeshi players participating in the PSL this season. BSS
