Green coconut market raided in Ctg

DNCRP conducted raids against green coconut traders in Chattogram city on Tuesday.



Teams of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) conducted raids against green coconut traders in Chattogram city on Tuesday.

A team conducted a raid in front of Chattogram Medical College Hospital and its surrounding areas from Tuesday morning to noon.

DNCRP members fined two traders Tk 30,500. Many traders also fled when they sought licenc and TIN certificates.

DNCRP Chattogram Deputy Director Md Foez Ullah confirmed the news.

On Monday, DNCRP announced that they would monitor the country’s green coconut market in a bid to find out the reasons of its high prices.
