More than 20 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Niloufar Square, Iran, as explosions were reported across the capital, Iranian authorities said.

Iranian media reported that multiple areas were hit, including eastern and western parts of Tehran, with significant damage to civilian buildings.

An Iranian official said that children were among the casualties in a strike targeting a school in the southern part of the city.
