Titas Club, Bangladesh Navy take joint lead

Dhaka, 9 Dec - Reigning champion Titas Club and Bangladesh Navy took joint lead in the points table after the seventh round of Premier Division Chess League held at the Chess Federation's Hall Room here Tuesday.

Titas Club earned 12 points from six matches while Bangladesh Navy also 
bagged 12 points from the seven matches.

Bangladesh Police is in second position with 11 points. Leonine Chess Club, 
Manha's Castle and Sadharan Bima Corporation Sporting Club shared the third 
positions with six points.
 
In the day's seventh round matches, Titas Club defeated Leonine Chess Club by 
3-1 game points, Bangladesh Navy defeated Sadharan Bima Corporation Sporting 
Club by 4-0 game points, Bangladesh Police Chess Club defeated Uttara Central 
Chess Club by 4-0 game points and Khelaghor Daba Sangha split point with 
Manha's Castle playing out to a 2-2 game points, Dipali Memorial Chess Club 
defeated Janata Bank Officers Welfare Society by 3-1 game points.BSS
