Noshin takes solo lead in Nat'l Women's Chess Championship

Dhaka, 25 Oct - Reigning women's champion Woman FIDE Master (WFM) Noshin Anjum has taken the sole lead in the points table with five points after the fifth round of the 43rd National Women's Chess Championship 2025, organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation and held today at the federation's hall room.

Woman Candidate Master (WCM) Nusrat Jahan Alo of Cumilla is in second place with 4.5 points.

Three players jointly held the third position with four points each -- WFM Warsia Kushbu, WCM Kazi Zarin Tasnim and WCM Walijah Ahmed of Bangladesh Navy.BSS
