Film Director Syed Salahuddin Zaki passes away
Director Syed Salahuddin Zaki has passed away. He took his last breath at 11:53 PM on Tuesday .
Director Syed Salahuddin Zaki has passed away. He took his last breath at 11:53 PM on Tuesday (September 19) at United Hospital in Gulshan.
He was 77.
Faridur Reza Sagar, Managing Director of Channel i, confirmed his death to the media.
The director had one son and one daughter, both of whom live in Canada. It is known that a decision will be taken about his burial after their return to the country.
Earlier, Zaki’s physical condition suddenly deteriorated after 10pm and was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
He is best known for his first fim “Ghuddi”. He received the National Film Award for Best Screenplay for the film in 1980.
