Islami Bank achieves award for digital banking services PR Photo 15.05.2025



Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC achieved the Accessible Digital Banking Services award for significant role in providing disability-friendly banking services through the “Cellfin” app. 

The prize was handed over in a program organized by Aspire to Innovate (a2I) on the occasion of global accessibility awareness day 2025 on 15 May 2025, Thursday at Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) auditorium. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, special assistant to the chief adviser for Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, as the chief guest handed over the award to Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, director of Islami Bank. Md. Maksudur Rahman, deputy managing director of the bank, Shish Haider Chowdhury, secretary for Information and Communication Division, Mohammad Rezaul Karim and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, executive vice presidents along with other officials of the bank attended the program. – Press release
