Biman Bangladesh Airlines has temporarily suspended flights to six Middle Eastern destinations due to rising security concerns in the region.
The national flag carrier said operations to Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Kuwait have been halted following recent attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States.
Passengers planning to travel on these routes have been advised to contact their nearest Biman sales office or their travel agency for guidance.
Flights between Dhaka–Madinah and Dhaka–Jeddah have been rescheduled for Sunday to accommodate affected passengers.
Passengers can also call Biman’s contact centre at 13636 or +88 09610913636 (for international calls) for updated information, according to the airline’s notice.
Biman apologised for the inconvenience and reaffirmed that passenger safety remains its top priority. The airline is closely monitoring developments and will provide updates as the situation evolves.
