Alliance Française de Dhaka is delighted to announce “Save the Environment”, the 16th solo painting exhibition by noted Bangladeshi artist Md Abu Salim, taking place at Galerie Zoom from 25 April to 6 May 2025.

The exhibition will open on Friday, 25 April at 5 PM, and will remain open to visitors every day (except Sundays) during gallery hours. Art lovers, environmental enthusiasts, and members of the press are warmly invited to the inauguration ceremony.

Md Abu Salim, a graduate of Charukala Institute, Dhaka University (1987), is known for his deep artistic commitment to environmental themes. His current collection of eighteen recent paintings highlights urgent environmental concerns, including:

  River and water pollution

  Air pollution

  Noise pollution

Degradation of life, nature, and soil

With a vibrant and emotive visual language, Selim’s works call upon society to reflect, take responsibility, and act to protect the earth. The exhibition stands as both an artistic and ethical response to the ecological challenges we face today.

This timely showcase is not just an exhibition—it is a call to action through art.
