Three students killed in Magura road crash

Three students were killed in a fatal road accident in front of Abalpur Government Primary School in  Magura-Jhenaidah highway today.


The deceased were Sajim Molla, 20, son of Bakul Molla of Kashinathpur village, Jisan, 18, son of Rezaul Karim of Boroichara village and Robin, 17, son of Lal Mia of Hajipur village.

Sajim and Jisan were students of class XII of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy College in Magura and Rabin was a student of class nine of Hajipur School and College.

Quoting locals, police said the accident occurred when a passenger bus of ‘Druti Paribahan’ collided head-on with a motorcycle in which three students were travelling.

Two motorcycle riders were killed on the spot and another one was injured critically, reports BSS. 

The injured   succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital.
 
Police seized the two vehicles from the spot.
